For the first match of the seaon, we played Ponds FC. The opposing team’s defense and striking abilities were very strong, and our first half gk wasn’t exactly having his best day, conceding 8 goals in 30 minutes. I was striker first half, and while I had a few attempts, the other striker never came up with me, whether it was due to tiredness or poor physicality, im not sure, so the oppurtinuties were short lived. In the second half, I was gk and I stopped a few possible goals but conceded 2 goals. The final score was 10-0.
